The hotel was lovely, as always. Most of the staff were courteous and helpful. Our room had some maintenance issues, but they were resolved immediately and a complimentary bottle of champagne delivered to our room...by Anton, the maintenance man....lovely.

We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary, as we spent our Wedding night there, our son gave us this night as a present gift. We had access to Club Lounge where we checked in, with ease. We then had a wonderful afternoon tea in Club Lounge. Our Corner sweet was Fabulous on the 48th floor. We then went down to Pre dinner drinks and canapes, all included in price , including cocktails. We had planned to go out for dinner , but we were so comfortable and service incredible, we didn't need to leave hotel. Breakfast Was fabulous, when it was finally time to leave reluctantly, we checked out on 35th floor and waited with lattes while the car was bought around. The Service from Valet was impeccable. The service from the Club Sofitel staff was unbelievable . The Cleaning Staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. A Stupendous Stay. Thank you

The check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and exceeded our expectation. I requested a birthday message for my husband and was surprised when staff brought us a non-alocoholic beverage along with the message. The buffet breakfast was actually the best one we have had in Melbourne. Thank you :)

It has always been my favourite hotel in the whole world ! My friend who hasn’t stayed there before was absolutely amazed at how fantastic it is - she arrived before me and was treated so well by the staff - she planned to go out for a coffee but decided it was too lovely to leave - and the fabulous free upgrade was just wonderful too - thank you so much to everyone for our lovely stay there- I hope to be back there soon.

I am a little bit biased as I have not only stayed here but also provided security services many years ago. I love the views from the windows and the comfortable room setting. Great to have a coffee machine and to be able to have the fridge. My wife loved that there was a bath to soak in. Our breakfast on the 35th floor was also well set out and had a bit of everything you would want, the staff were bright and cheerful which always helps first thing in the morning. Very easy check in and out. We wished we had booked an additional night. :)

This is such a beautiful hotel and it is in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants and even a cinema right on your doorstep. The staff are so friendly and will help you with anything you may need. We had a fantastic view over the city and the room was lovely with a huge comfy bed. Food from the restaurant was also delicious. Very happy 😊 would love to return one day 😊

Having stayed at the 'Sofitel on Collins' on many occasions now I have always found the following applies. The 'Staff' were so very polite and friendly. Ease of access when arriving was a big 'plus' with valet parking, which seemed expensive at first, but when you calculate 'in' an hourly rate it proved to be very reasonable. The 'room service' was prompt and came with smiling and friendly staff once again. The 11.00 am 'Check Out' made for less haste when leaving. The dining experience is well 'above average' and worth investigating. The Melbourne tram service is just outside the front door and travel is 'Free' throughout the CBD opening your stay to 'Dine' at many of Melbourne's great restaurant experiences. The 'Sofitel on Collins' is somewhere that I would 'Highly Recommend' to one and all.

When we arrived to our room there was a bottle of champagne for my husband and I to congratulate us on our wedding. It was just such an elegant touch that continued to exceed our expectations. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Our room was absolutely beautiful with the most incredible views. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.

Staff provided excellent service, very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was beautiful, we loved the Balmain bath products and the club lounge and food was fantastic. We can’t wait to come back
